PIZZAPIZZA was born from a simple yet profound vision: to bring the authentic flavors of Italian pizza craftsmanship to Canada, while adding our own distinctive minimalistic Canadian touch. What began as a small family operation in 2009 has grown into a beloved culinary destination, known for our unwavering commitment to quality and tradition.

Our founder, Isabella Romano, grew up in Naples, Italy, where she learned the art of pizza-making from her grandfather, a renowned pizzaiolo who passed down recipes that had been in their family for generations. After moving to Canada and noticing a gap in the market for truly authentic Neapolitan pizza with a contemporary twist, Isabella decided to bring her heritage and passion to the local food scene.

The name PIZZAPIZZA represents our dual heritage - a celebration of Italian culinary tradition combined with the straightforward, unpretentious approach that Canadians appreciate. We've created a space where the warmth of a traditional trattoria meets modern urban design, resulting in our signature neo-trattoria ambiance.

Each pizza is hand-stretched by our skilled pizzaiolos, never rolled or pressed, preserving the delicate air bubbles in the dough that create our signature crust structure.

Our custom-built wood-fired oven reaches the perfect temperature of 485°C, allowing pizzas to cook in just 90 seconds. This intense heat creates the characteristic leopard-spotted char that defines authentic Neapolitan pizza.
